Dr. Kelsey Bauman is the clinical pharmacy specialist in critical care for the mixed intensive care unit at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital – Fenton (Missouri). Dr. Bauman received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2013 and completed PGY-1 residency training at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL. Her interests include glucose management in critically ill patients, delirium prevention, and precepting students and residents.

Christopher Betz, PharmD, BCPS, FKSHP, FASHP, is a Professor at the Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He earned his Pharm.D. at Temple University in Philadelphia and completed a pharmacy practice residency at the University of Louisville. Prior to his current position Dr. Betz practiced at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans and taught at Xavier University of Louisiana, and the University of Louisiana Monroe Colleges of Pharmacy. He joined Sullivan in August of 2009 and practices as a Cardiology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist with the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiovascular Surgery Services within the University of Louisville Health - Jewish Hospital Rudd Heart and Lung Center. Dr. Betz has held multiple appointed and elected positions within the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP), and its state affiliates in Louisiana and Kentucky, including President of the Louisiana Society of Health-System Pharmacists. He’s also served ASHP as a Delegate from both states, as Chair of the Council on Pharmacy Practice, Cardiology Networking Facilitator for the Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists, and Chair of the Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists. Dr. Betz has served the
American College of Cardiology Kentucky Chapter as a Session Chair and as Chair of the Scientific Committee. He has been an item writer for the NAPLEX and is a member of the NAPLEX Review Committee. He serves as a reviewer for several periodicals and as a content matter expert, and faculty member, for the ASHP Pharmacotherapy Board Certification Review and Recertification Course.

Snehal BhattSnehal Bhatt, PharmD, BCPS, FASHP, AACC is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston where his primary focus is on cardiovascular topics. Dr. Bhatt’s clinical practice is in acute care cardiology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where he manages the pharmacotherapy of patients on the cardiology service and the Acute Heart Failure and Left Ventricular Assist Device service. Dr. Bhatt is a member of the development team and a content matter expert for the ASHP Pharmacotherapy Review and Recertification Course where he has authored recertification programming and lectured on cardiology-focused topics. As a content matter expert within the pharmacotherapy course, he has developed, evaluated, and reviewed literature study modules and intensive studies for recertification credits. Dr. Bhatt also served ASHP as Chair for the ASHP Council on Therapeutics. He is an active member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), serving on the Cardiovascular Team Leadership Council.

Sarah CaulfieldDr. Sarah Caulfield was born and raised in metro Atlanta area. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kennesaw State University and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University- College of Pharmacy. She completed her PGY-1 residency at Emory University Hospital and PGY-2 in Oncology at Emory Healthcare/ Winship Cancer Institute. Kalin Clifford, PharmD, BCPS, BCGP, is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Division of Geriatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in Dallas, Texas. His current practice site is within the North Texas Veterans Affairs Hospital within the Community Living Center (CLC-A), a sub-acute rehab facility. Dr. Clifford also precepts students on the required Geriatric Clerkship rotation during their Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) year. Prior to beginning his career at Texas Tech, Dr. Clifford received his degree from Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2011. Brooklyn CobbBrooklyn T. Cobb, PharmD, BCPS, earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Hampton University and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and PGY2 Pharmacotherapy Residency at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in conjunction with Cooper University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon completion of her residency training, Dr. Cobb served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy with the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, PA and maintained a practice site in an internal medicine clinic at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. She later transitioned into an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist position with Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in Houston, TX where she currently operates under a collaborative practice agreement to manage uninsured patient populations for hypertension, diabetes, COPD, dyslipidemia, heart failure, tobacco use, and anticoagulation disorders. Dr. Cobb is an active member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, and American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Her clinical interests include chronic disease state management in underserved patient populations, medication education and reconciliation, and transitions of care.

Dr. Zac Cox, PharmD, received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy and completed a pharmacy practice residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the Heart Failure Society of America and Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. Currently, Dr. Cox is an Associate Professor at Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy and practices at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as the heart failure clinical pharmacy specialist in Nashville, TN. His research interests focus on diuretic therapies in acute heart failure, diuretic resistance, the use of inhaled inotropic agents in Stage D heart failure.

Lourdes Cross, PharmD, BCACP, CDCES, is an Assistant Professor at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (SUCOPHS) in Louisville and a clinical pharmacy specialist focusing on ambulatory care at the University of Louisville Hospital. As a faculty member of SUCOPHS, Dr. Cross precepts pharmacy students on Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiential rotations, PGY1 residents, and PGY2 ambulatory care and internal medicine residents. Heather Draper, PharmD, BCPS, is a Clinical Pharmacist in Emergency Medicine at Trinity Health Saint Mary’s in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Draper has twice received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Student Government Association, the Most Influential Professor and the Preceptor of the Year Awards at the University of Tennessee and was awarded the Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award from the Tennessee Pharmacists Association. She has been certified as an instructor by the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Dr. Draper is a former chair of the American Society of Health- System Pharmacists (ASHP) Section Advisory Group on Emergency Care and an author of the ASHP Guidelines on Emergency Medicine Pharmacist Services. Her research interests include examining the role and impact of the pharmacist in the Emergency Department and in a variety of resuscitation settings.

Jessica FarrellDr. Jessica Farrell received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) in Albany, NY. Subsequent to this, she completed an ASHP-Accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ. Following her residency, she was employed by Englewood Hospital and Medical Center as an Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist. Dr. Farrell is currently employed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her practice site is The Center for Rheumatology in Albany, NY where she provides a variety of clinical pharmacy services including pharmacotherapy consult services, and patient counseling and self-injection training visits. She serves as program coordinator for the ACPHS PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency program, Associate Medical Officer for the Steffens Scleroderma Center, member of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Government Affairs Committee and as the first pharmacist member of the national Scleroderma Foundation Medical and Scientific Advisory Board. She also has previously held officer positions for the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists (NYSCHP)-Northeastern Chapter. Dr. Farrell presents nationally and internationally on numerous rheumatic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, scleroderma, and systemic lupus erythematous. She has received multiple professional awards including Preceptor of Distinction in Clinical Pharmacy, Steffens Scleroderma Foundation Ernest J. Dupont Award, Faculty Advisor of the Year, the Scleroderma Foundation 2019 Doctor of the Year and the New York State Chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy 2020 Clinical Practitioner of the Year.

Benjamin HohlfelderBenjamin Hohlfelder, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCCCP, is a Critical Care Pharmacy Clinical Specialist at the Cleveland Clinic. His clinical practice is centered in the cardiothoracic surgery ICU, including patients undergoing heart and lung transplant, ventricular assist device implantation, and mechanical circulatory support. He completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. He is board certified in both Pharmacotherapy and Critical Care Pharmacy. Areas of research interest include anticoagulation in mechanical circulatory support, management of pain, agitation and delirium, and treatment of venous thromboembolism. Most recently, he has served as faculty for the 2022 ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting, 2020 ASHP Critical Care Core Therapeutic Modules, 2019 ASHP Literature Studies modules in Pharmacotherapy and Critical Care, and presented for the Intensive Studies session at the 2018 ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting.

Kazuhiko KidoDr. Kido is currently a clinical assistant professor of clinical pharmacy at West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. Prior to the current position, he was a faculty at the South Dakota State University College of Pharmacy Allied Health Professions for four years. Dr. Kido graduated from University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 2013 and completed PGY 1 pharmacy practice residency and PGY 2 cardiology pharmacy residency in University of Kentucky HealthCare. He also received his Master of Science Degree from Keio University and Bachelor of Science Degree from Kyoritsu College of Pharmacy in Japan. Dr. Kido is a cardiology clinical pharmacy specialist in the WVU outpatient heart failure clinic and on the WVU inpatient heart failure service. His practice interests are diuretic therapy optimization, anticoagulation therapy, and pulmonary arterial hypertension therapy management. His main teaching responsibilities include therapeutic lectures in cardiology and pulmonary courses and precepting fourth year pharmacy students for APPE rotations. His teaching interests include inter-professional education, and international pharmacy education, and simulation in pharmacy education. His areas of research interests include anticoagulation, heart failure, and pulmonary hypertension. Dr. Kido published multiple original research articles and review articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Kido is an active member in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and American Society of Health- System Pharmacist. He currently serves as committee members for multiple national pharmacy associations.

Patricia Kienle is the Director of Accreditation and Medication Safety for Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions. She received her pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and a Masters in Public Administration from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She is Board Certified as a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist. She completed an Executive Fellowship in Patient Safety from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, and is Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She has served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and as President of the Pennsylvania Society of Hospital Pharmacists. She is a Fellow of ASHP, was named Pharmacist of the Year by PSHP, the recipient of the Distinguished Achievement Award in Hospital and Institutional Practice from the American Pharmaceutical Association Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management, the Distinguished Leadership Award from ASHP, and the ASHP John W. Webb Lecture Award. She has served on the Pharmacotherapy Specialty Council of the Board of Pharmacy Specialties, the Pennsylvania Patient Safety Authority, the Hospital Professional and Technical Advisory Committee of The Joint Commission, and on the Board of Governors of the National Patient Safety Foundation. She is a current member of the USP Compounding Expert Committee. Patti is the author of Compounding Sterile Preparations: ASHP’s Visual Guide to Chapter <797>; video and Companion Guide, co-author of Meeting Accreditation Standards: A Pharmacy Preparation Guide, and author of The Sterile Compounding Answer Book: A Guide to Contemporary Best Practices The Nonsterile Compounding Answer Book: A Guide to Contemporary Best Practices, and The Chapter <800>; Answer Book. Morgan KingMorgan King graduated from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2015. After pharmacy school, she went on to complete a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital and a PGY2 residency in pediatrics at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent. She currently works as clinical pharmacy specialist at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital. In her current role, Morgan primarily takes care of obstetric patients, including labor and delivery, high risk antepartum, and postpartum patients, as well as child and adolescent psychiatry patients. She also spends some time cross covering the general pediatrics unit and the neonatal intensive care unit. Morgan also currently serves as a preceptor to the PGY1 residency program at Fairview as well as a preceptor to students.

Noelle LeungDr Noelle Leung is the maternal fetal medicine and obstetrics clinical pharmacy specialist at UK HealthCare in Lexington, KY and is an adjunct associate professor at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. She received her PharmD from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 2009 and completed her pharmacy residency at Saint Joseph East in Lexington. Following residency she returned to UK HealthCare where she spent 9 years as a pediatric pharmacist prior to her current position. She obtained her BCPPS in 2016 shortly after the pediatric speciality board became available. As her interest in maternal fetal medicine grew, she was given the opportunity to transition to obstetrics full time in 2019, where she has practiced since. She works with multiple hospital committees and initiatives such as the UK Birthing Center Quality and Safety Committee, the UK Opioid Stewardship Committee, and the UK Medication Safety Committee. She was the founding chair and is currently serving vice chair of the OB and Women's Health Special Interest Group of the Pediatric Pharmacy Association (PPA). She precepts LEEP and APPE students as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents in obstetrics and mentors resident research projects and grand rounds. She lectures within the college of pharmacy as well as to the OB/GYN residents and MFM fellows at UK HealthCare. She has been invited to present at several local and national meetings on pediatric, obstetric, and teaching topics. Her current research interests include opioid stewardship in women's health, pharmacokinetics in pregnancy, anemia of pregnancy, and pharmacy initiatives to improve obstetrical care.

She is actively involved in and holds multiple leadership roles in the ACCP ID PRN, Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) and the SC Society of Health-System Pharmacists. In her current role at MUSC Health, she is engaged in clinical infectious diseases/antimicrobial stewardship practices, academia, leadership and trainee education and is the current ID PGY2 program director. Her areas of interests include DEI initiatives, stewardship expansion, beta lactam allergy desensitization, and Gram-negative mechanisms of resistance. Krutika’s interests outside of pharmacy include trying various cuisines, wildlife conservation, traveling, health and fitness, snowboarding, and spending time with family and friends, and her pup!

Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy, she served as the Coordinator of Drug Information and Medication Safety at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, and was a Drug Information Specialist at Kaiser Permanente in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Moorman’s interests include drug information and medication safety. She is an active member of the Utah Society of Health-System Pharmacists---serving as President and now Immediate Past President. Dr. Moorman has served as Chair and member, ASHP Program Committee; Delegate, 2015 ASHP House of Delegates; and Alternate Delegate, 2016 ASHP House of Delegates. Nicholas Owens, PharmD, BCACP, BCPS, FCPP is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy – St. Joseph’s University. His clinical practice sites are located in Cooper University Hospital’s outpatient Internal Medicine clinics. He co-coordinates the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy Teaching and Learning Curriculum Program as well as a 3-year interprofessional introductory pharmacy practice experience centered around the student-run Cooper Rowan Clinic in Camden, NJ. Dr. Owens earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Following graduation, he completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and Family Medicine Faculty Development Fellowship with UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. He became a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) while completing a PGY2 Family Medicine Specialty Residency at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. Dr. Owens obtained Board Certification in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy (BCACP) in 2018 and was promoted to the rank of clinical associate professor in 2022. Prior to joining the faculty at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, Dr. Owens worked as a clinical pharmacist faculty member of UPMC Shadyside Family Medicine Residency and served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. During his time at UPMC Shadyside Family Medicine Residency he served as a site coordinator for newly developed PGY1 pharmacy practice residency. In his current role at YNHHS, Dr. Owusu leads teams to uncover unnecessary clinical practice variation and harness best evidence-based practices and system clinical consensus into the development of Clinical Pathways. After obtaining a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biochemistry from Florida State University, Dr. Owusu received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree with honors from Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy. He subsequently completed his Pharmacy Practice Residency and a Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at Yale New Haven Health, New Haven, CT in 2015, and transitioned into the role of neurocritical care pharmacist. Dr. Owusu is dual board certified in Pharmacotherapy and in Critical Care. He is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), Neurocritical Care Society (NCS), American College of Clinical Pharmacy, and the American Epilepsy Society. Dr. Owusu is a fellow of the SCCM and NCS. He leads the Research and Funding Database charge for the SCCM Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology section. He is the currently chair of the Pharmacotherapy of Neurocritical Care Series (PONS) education product committee. He has been an active member of the SCCM Neurosciences section for the previous 5 years and is currently on the executive committee as a Member at Large of the Neurosciences Section of SCCM. Marc Scheetz, PharmD, M.Sc., BCPS-AQID, FCCP, attained a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Butler University, earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation degree at Northwestern University, and completed his pharmacy practice residency and an infectious diseases fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Scheetz is a Professor at Midwestern University in the Chicago College of Pharmacy and holds a joint appointment in the Department of Pharmacology, College of Graduate Studies. Dr. Scheetz is the Director of the Pharmacometric Center of Excellence at Midwestern University. He currently practices clinically as an infectious diseases pharmacist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago, IL, and serves as the Director for the Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program in Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy. Dr. Scheetz has authored a number of original research manuscripts and review articles in the area of anti-infective pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics and currently serves as a reviewer for several infectious diseases, pharmacy, and medical journals. His primary research interest lies in the interface of the pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic interaction (i.e. between antimicrobials, pathogens, and hosts). He is particularly interested in assessing modifiable pharmacologic variables in the treatment of infectious diseases and identifying optimal exposures against the backdrop of toxicity. His group studies toxicology in the laboratory as well as through clinical data modeling. Dr. Scheetz is actively engaged in local and national leadership positions and formerly served as a member of the FDA Antimicrobial Drugs Advisory Committee.

Dr. Jon P. Wietholter is a 2007 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. After graduation, Dr. Wietholter completed a PGY-1 residency at Pitt County Memorial Hospital (now Vidant Health) which is affiliated with East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at the West Virginia University (WVU) School of Pharmacy, an Adjunct Associate Professor at the WVU School of Medicine, and an Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist at WVU-Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Dr. Wietholter is involved in many aspects of the WVU School of Pharmacy curriculum with more than 100 contact hours annually and is the co-coordinator of three School of Pharmacy courses: Health Systems Pharmacy Practice, the Neurology/Psychiatry module in the Systems Based Therapy sequence, and Travel Medicine and Global Pharmacy Practice.
